How do I run a virus check on software or files I have downloaded from the Internet?
- Locate the software or files that have been downloaded onto your computer.
- Right click with the mouse on the software / files. A little menu appears, with various options such as 'Rename', 'Copy', 'Scan with virus checker'. Select 'Scan with virus checker'.
- The virus scan will take place. When completed, close the dialog box.
Note:
The virus checker may be Bit Defender or AVG etc.
