Audacity - Final Assessment Exercise.

Recall:
You have learned how to record, to 'trim' your track (lesson eight), 'cut' your track
(lesson nine), modify an MP3 track so that it becomes soft background music (lesson ten) and finally export your audio file in MP3 format.
Final Assessment Exercise:
You have now gained all the necessary skills to help you create your own customised audio file. Put all these skills into action and prepare the background music that can be used in the next unit - Pictures To Exe.

• Select an appropriate piece of music that you would like to include in your slide show. 
• Import it into Audacity.
• Shorten the length of the music if necessary.
• Add a 'fade in' and 'fade out' effect.
• Reduce the amplification.
• Save this file with an appropriate name.
• Export the file in MP3 format.

Note:
If for any reason you are unable to create your own customised MP3 track you will be able to download and use the MP3 track in Pictures To Exe - Lesson 7.
