At the end of this lesson, you will be able to demonstrate how to straighten a crooked photograph by using the 'ruler tool' to draw a line over the crooked part of the image and by selecting 'Image > Rotate Canvas > Arbitrary', the angle needed to straighten the image is automatically inserted into the 'Rotate Canvas dialog box'.

- Open 'OriginalImage1.jpg' and use it to practise the method shown.
Note: 'OriginalImage1.jpg' can be downloaded in 'Photography Preparation - Lesson 1'. - Save your file when all adjustments have been made but give it a new name so that 'OriginalImage1.jpg' can be used for all subsequent lessons. Select 'File > Save As' and call it 'Lesson 7.jpg'.
