Having completed the course you have now gained the necessary skills to create an audiovisual slide show using Pictures To Exe. Put all these skills into action and carry out the following exercise:
- Using Windows Explorer set up a new folder with sub-folders to store all the images, sound files, .pte files, and .exe files you will need for a new project.
- Using Photoshop CS3 prepare at least ten images that can be used in the slide show. Amend the photographs if necessary by adjusting the levels, cropping them and adding a border.
- Using Audacity select and import an appropriate piece of music. Edit the music track, add a fade in fade out effect, reduce amplification and save as an MP3 file. You may decide to include commentary.
- Using Pictures to Exe create a slide show of images with transition effects and music. When completed create an EXE file so that it can be viewed on any computer.
