Managing files using Windows Explorer

Objectives

After completing this unit you should be able to:
  • Use Windows Explorer
  • Navigate through different folders
  • Create new folders on the PC
  • Copy delete and rename files and folders
  • Connect the digital camera to the PC using a USB cable
  • Insert the memory card from the camera into the card reader on the computer to allow the transfer of images.
  • Use Windows Explorer to transfer photographs from a camera to a specific folder on the PC.
  • Use Windows Vista AutoPlay to transfer photographs from a camera to a specific folder on the PC.
  • Use Windows Explorer to back up images onto a CD or DVD
  • Use Windows Explorer to delete all the photos stored on the camera.
